Twinkle Twinkle

Libby loves the song Twinkle Twinkle.  I know most kids love it, but she LOOOVES it!  Tonight after bath and bottle, I was singing it to her.  Every time I said "Twinkle Twinkle" she would make this sound "twinkle twinkle" (with less w and l of course).  It was crazy...she must have done it 20 times.  Of course I called rob up and as soon as he was listening, she stopped.  But I'm calling it...her 1st word is twinkle!  She's definitely a little star in our family and lights up our lives do it's appropriate and perfect!

In other news, she's 9 months today!  3/4th of a year gone!  Crazy!  Tonight the whole family was having so much fun playing with her.  She's crawl so fast away and then we would catch her and tickle her and she was cracking up...full belly laughs!

Here is my little star in her new apple pjs in honor of her teacher mommy!

In other exciting news, Abigail had her 1st soccer game.  She's not loving soccer but is trying it one more time.  So of course this weekend she was in goal...and a kid FIRED a shot and it hit her right in her face!  The whole crowd was silent and then was like "owwww".  I am shocked, but she didn't cry!  Rob was helping coach and was right there to keep her calm!  I'm telling you...any boy on her team would have been on the ground crying cause it was a hard shot!  Maybe she's tougher than we think...and her team won 1-0 because of her face block!  Still doesn't like soccer (sad sad face) but is proud of herself!!!  So are we!!!  And thanks Auntie Stina for coming to her game!

Big week for Caitlin.  She has "meet the teacher" at her new school!  I'm pretty sure she's going to LOVE her teacher...I hear she's beautiful, amazing, and the best teacher in the school!!!!  She will also meet the kids she will most likely go to school with for the next 11 years!  Big day!

Kindergarten

I feel like every cliche that exists could go here...time goes so fast...the days are long but the years are short...

Our 1st baby is officially a kindergarten!  I feel like I should be a little sad, but I feel like we've been talking about this for years.  And Abigail is SO excited!!!!!  So it's hard to be sad!

So far, we are absolutely in love with our new school.  It has such a family feel and is so much fun!  I can't even begin to explain how many of my coworkers stopped in my room on their 1st day when they are so busy to see Abigail!  So thoughtful!!!

And we LOVE Abigail's teacher!  We sort of hit the teacher jackpot!  The girls preschool teacher got a job at our school and is the K teacher!!!  So Abigail gets Mrs. K another year!

Her class seems very sweet.  She has 18 kids in her class.  I was helping in her class today and got to scope it out!

She has a locker and gets to eat in the cafeteria!  Such a big girl!!!

Daddy took the morning off and took Abigail to her 1st day...that was very special!!!

We are so excited for Abigail and all her 1sts this year (field trips, concerts, etc).

So, even though I should be sad...I am just so excited for her!!!!  And for all interested...our 1st fundraiser has begun...raffle tickets!  I love this school...gambling and/or alcohol are involved in all the fund raisers!  It's gonna be a fun year for the parents!

(and I can't get pictures off my computer onto the blog, only from my phone, so I can't download all my pictures from today with my good camera...or Libbys baptism for that matter...I gave to figure it out...but here are pictures on my phone!

Moving Out

Abigail has packed her bags because she's moving out when kindergarten starts...but she promises to come back and visit.

Caitlin won't stop crying about Abigail leaving.

Libby can't sleep with all the crying.

That's what is happening at my house at this exact moment!

The Summer Of Libby

First....I have SO much to catch up on.  2 trips to Bass Lake, Libby's baptism, all the changes coming to our family this year in terms of work and school, etc.  I can't get on out lab top, but finally figured out how to post from my phone!!!  I hope that means lots more posts since most of my pictures are on my phone!!!

Today is all about Libby!  I can't believe we started our summer with a 6 month old...and gave an almost 9 month old on our hands!  She has grown so much!!!  She has 2 bottom teeth.  At her 8 month dr appt for shots, she was weighing in just under 15 lbs.  This summer she started crawling, then sitting, and now standing and walking along furniture!  This week she started waving to us!  Every milestone melts my heart and appreciate the fact that she is in our lives!!!!  And she can't be far from her 1st words!!!

Here are some pics from Libs this summer!!!
1st time sitting in a cart!

Playing at the Children's Museum

Starting to stand

Pushing the walker!  All 3 girls started with this!

First time I discovered how far baby food has come since Caitlin.  It's almost too easy...but I try to save these only for eating out so she uses the spoon at home!  Speaking of eating....she's good at it!  She loves oatmeal and all baby food except peaches by themselves (need to be mixed).  She also does finger foods like bananas and avocado.  She isn't too good at puffs yet, but does well with bigger puffs.

Playing the piano

Helping mommy with laundry!  This was one of the first times she pulled up from sitting!

Libby joined our Catholic family!!!  That's a whole new post (when we fix the computer...grrr)

Soaking in every minute at the pool

She is a happy baby in the pool and the bath, where she just started sitting in last week!  No more baby bath tub!

Waving hi!!!!!

This summer with Libby has been amazing!  Big changes coming next week because school is starting and I am going back full time for the first time in 5 years, but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.  I'll be in the same school that the girls will be...possibly through 8th grade if we love it!  It's a Catholic school which I really really wanted for my kids!  I'll be teaching preschool so I won't have as much work in terms of testing and grading!  And this year, I'm going to be teaching Caitlin!!!!   And Abigail has the BEST kindergarten teacher!!!!  But nevertheless, I'm so sad to be leaving Libs and will really cherish my time with her!!!

Be. Still. My. Heart...I love that little girl more than I could have ever imagined!!!!

4th of July Weekend

We had a relaxing, fun-filled, family 4th of July weekend!

We started on Wednesday night with fireworks.  We went to watch the local fireworks, but decided to watch them from the roof of our car!  It was a win-win..the kids go to watch fireworks...and we were the 1st ones out of the parking lot and home by 10pm!  :)  I love when a plan actually works!

Hanging in the mini while we wait.

Watching the fireworks on top of VANessa!

We began our 4th of July with donuts with the Glures.  We then headed over to our local town parade.  I LOVE that we live in a town that has a small town feel.  We were at the end of the parade and thought the kids might get the short end of the stick, but it was the opposite.  The girls made out like bandits because everyone was giving us all their stuff!

My patriotic girls watching the parade.  Oh, this reminds me...when Caitlin grows up, she wants to be a Jessie White Tumbler!  ;)  She told us that a lot!

Libby's 1st 4th of July!

We ended the 4th of July at a BBQ at the Glures.  It was a great day!

Rob had to work on Friday, the 5th.  After the girls finished their swim lessons, we headed up to the cabin with Nana.  Friday was the most perfect day at the cabin.  The sun was out, it was a great temperature, Auntie Stina was there...and there were cocktails to be enjoyed!!!  Rob and Papa both came up later after work and we ended the evening watching fireworks on the porch around the new firepit table.

Saturday was a fun day. Rob had 8 guys come up because they were going on a golf outing the next day.  So there was lots of activities to be done...soccer, washers, frisbee, teeball, ladderball, etc.  And a few beers too!  It was a great day!  And as always, here are some pictures from our super fun weekend at the cabin.

The two fish in the water.  Friday they literally swam for 5 hours in a row!  And they are old (and tall) enough that they can swim alone...so they never have to come out of the lake as long as someone is watching them!

Libby hanging with Auntie Jam.

No trip to the lake is complete without a golf cart ride!  I love that Nana drove them..and both the girls wanted to sit in the back with Auntie Stina.

Is there anything better than a place where golf cart is your form of transportation???  :)

Auntie Stina taught Abigail how to make bubbles with her hand and then catch them!

A serious game of ladder ball.  I LOVE the action of Caitlin..and Abigail's Amish look!  Nana looks impressed with Caitlin!

Isn't this a great picture?  I love it!  And of course, Caitlin has her "pose"..the girl has it in every picture!

The yard full of fun!

Happy 4th of July from our 3 little fishies!!!!!

Sheboygan

We just got back from our WONDERFUL vacation to Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  Sheboygan has quickly become one of my FAVORITE places in the world, right along with Bass Lake and Ocean City.  It's so peaceful there!  It's the perfect amount of stuff for the kids to do and the perfect amount of "nothing to do"!  We had a great 4 nights away!

This year we stayed in a 4 bedroom villa right on the lake..which felt like being on the ocean (and we called it the ocean on accident many times).  We spent our  mornings in the waterpark and our afternoons on the beach.  We also spent some time enjoying 3 Sheeps beer..our new favorite find!

Here are a few pictures from the week in Sheboygan:

We made it to the beach!

Libby's 1st time on the beach..and 1st vacation.  That lil tongue was out of her mouth more than it was in!

So hapy to be back in the sand.

A happy girl!

Building a serious sand castle with grandpa.

One morning I took the 3 older girls for a walk on the beach..and we wrote their names in the sand.  This picture was taken from our villa looking down into the sand.

Our 1st night there, there was a massive rain for like 10 minutes, and then the most beautiful rainbow.  I couldn't capture it, but it went all the way from one side to the other.  It was awesome!!!

Jules and Joe were parked right next to this car!  :)

Checking out the water.  It was COLD!

One morning, Rob and Caitlin took a stroll along the beach...they had the whole thing to themselves!

We made many trips to the local ice cream parlor.

Ice Cream=Vacation

Libs and Mommy enjoying some sun time at the beach.

St. Norbert Pride!

Aunt Katie and Caitlin enjoying some swimming in the water park.

Grandma was officially the "baby holder" in the water park.

Waterparks wear babies out!  And kids!  And adults!!!

Uncle Vern and Abigail down the lazy river!

Grandpa and Caitlin checking out the boat.

Leigh and Libby sharing a meal.

The girls picked out a kite...and we asked grandpa to help.  Grandpa ended up spending much longer than he probably wanted working on it...but it was a great kite!  Even though some show off next to us had a fancy kite flying!  :)

One afternoon, Rob and Joe watched all the girls so the "Original 5 Muskovichs" + Vern could go check out he local brewery. The beer was great there!!!

Aunt Julie...lover of beer, cheese fries, and pool!

The last night, we went down to the bonfire and had smores!!!

It was a wonderful family vacation!!!!  It was so fun to have so much time with my family!!!!
One of my highlights was spending so much time with Leigh..I haven't had much one-on-one time with her but I really felt like I got to spend some quality time with her!  I wish I had more pictures of the 3 older girls playing together because they were really inseperable...I think I took the most pictures the 1st and last day when Lucy wasn't there.  But Lucy,
Abigail, and Caitlin definitely had a blast together...it's so special that they get to grow up and vacation with their cousins!

I love watching my girls interact with my sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces, and parents!  And of course, them spending 5 days with their Daddy is their FAVORITE part!!!!

Can't wait till our next trip to Sheboygan!!!
