February 21 was my due date, so Abigail is officially 1 in the medical world!!!! And 1 has brought out the funny little stinker side of her! She is so funny...I wish I could stop time and keep like she is today forever...she's so funny all day long!!!!
"Oh My Gosh...She did what? Let me ask my p's if I can come over. Call me!"
"I do not need help..I can hold my cup all by myself!"
For the next 6 weeks, I'm watching Reese and Chase two days a week. This week was our first day...it was busy!!! But fun!!!! I can handle this "3" thing!
On Friday we were so lucky because we got to meet my friend Jessica's (Rutland from Conant) son Brayden. I wasn't sure how Abigail would react to having a baby in the house...she was curious but really loved him!!! (So did Mommy!!!!)
"Hey Mom..Something in here is moving!"

How cute is Brayden??? What a peanut!!!! We loved our visit and can't wait to see you again soon!

Abigail got her big girl potty!!!! No, we aren't crazy and potty-training yet. We are just going to begin with bathtime practice. When it's time for bathtime, I'll sit her on it while the tub is filling. If she "uses" the potty (which she will because of the running water) we'll cheer and sing the potty song...I really hope this will make potty-training more successful in a few months! (The question for all the moms out there is this: We are going on a vacation this summer which involved an 18 hour car ride..do I want her potty-trained for the trip or is it better to keep her in diapers until after the trip?). So here's Abigail with her froggy!!!!
"Check out my froggy potty!"
Word Watch: Her words are slowly coming! In addition to "doggie" and "dada", she is also saying "duck" (we have a duck bathroom) and today she said "MaMa" everytime she saw Mickey Mouse...not sure if she thinks the Mouse is her mom or what but I'll take it!

SO CUTE!! I just love the little potty.. I tried but stopped.. my Dr. said if she wants to be changed when she is wet then she is ready if not wait a little.. She still could care less.. unless it is poopoo.. I am going to wait and start when she is officially 2 which is April 29th! She did go a couple times on it though.. its a start.;)
Abigail, I see your "independence" shining.......you are just like her Mommy and Daddy.
