New Year's Eve

2009 was an amazing year for us!  It began with our heartbreak of losing our pregnancy and I couldn't even imagine what the year would be like.  However, we never could have imagined it would end with such a beautiful gift....Caitlin Elizabeth!  And a lot happened in between, including Abigail learning to walk and talk!  We are so grateful for all our gifts of 2009; Rob's job doing great, Abigail really growing up before our eyes, a great family vacation, and most importantly a healthy family, especially for Rob's grandma!!!!!!

We brought in 2010 with our closest friends!!!  We had a wonderful night with a fancy dinner (we even used the China for only the 2nd time in over 5 years), great drinks, some dancing, and lots of laughs!!!  I could think of a better way to start what we know will be a wonderful year with lots of surprises, and 2 new additions to this group!!!!

Dinner

Holy Cow..how many years have we celebrated a new year???  At least 17, if not more!

Oh man...this is when the drinks really kicked in!

Caitlin was up with us the whole night...this is how we all felt the next day!!!!!

We can't even imagine what 2010 holds for us!!!!

The only words needed for this post: Time. Out!

Yes, that's our bed...and Kramer eating in it.  Abigail's new favorite game is to move Kramer's food into our bed!  2 days now, 2 sets of new sheets!  Ugh!  I hope her timeout today did the trick and this game is over!

Christmas Day

After a wonderful Xmas Eve, we continued to have such a wonderful Xmas Day!  We woke up to find out that Santa had visited and we were very good this year!  Some of the favorites from Santa include an easel, a sled, and a tea set.

Abigail with all the evidence of a great Christmas!

After we did Christmas at our house, we headed over to Nana and Papa's house for Round 2!  It was a great morning that included breakfast casserole, mimosas and bloody marys, and lots more presents!  The highlight was Abigail opening her 1st kitchen!  Thank you Nana and Papa for all the presents!

Wow!!!!  My 1st Kitchen!

Our Xmas present this year under the tree!!!  Isn't she so cute?

Caitlin had a rough morning of opening presents!

After gifts at Nana and Papa's, we headed home so Abigail could rest up for Christmas Round 3!  After some rest, we all headed over to Rob's grandparents' house for a wonderful Xmas dinner, lots of laughter, and yes...more presents!

Abigail spent a lot of time with Auntie Stina...who even let her help open her presents!

The Wennerstroms...3 generations!

As you can see, we had a wonderful Christmas!  The girls were treated so well by all our family and friends....and we were treated even better by our girls.  Watching Abigail open up her presents and be so excited about the presents made this Christmas the best one yet!!!!!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas!  It was so magical with the girls...especially Abigail!  She loved all the presents and had so much fun opening them up.  Every gift she opened she wanted to play with right away!  And wow, did she get a lot of gifts.  (I'll do a post later with her with all her gifts).  Everyone was so generous with gifts, especially for the girls.  We are so grateful...and it's not about the money spent.  It's about the time and thought that went into every single gift.  Everyone spent so much time and thought into gifts that were perfect...so thank you so much!!!!!  Here are pics from Xmas Eve.  We always do Xmas Eve with my family (the Muskovich side).  We do the traditional polish food like perch...and I even made homemade pierogies this year!  My parents went above and beyond this year with the food...with a new tradition of Crab Legs.  It was so yummy!  And yes, the tradition of oyster shooters continued this year too!  (And grrr...my pics are all out of order because I'm trying my new computer, but dont like it because I can't change the order of the pics).

Abigail on her new bike from Aunt Julie and Uncle Joe.  It's a princess bigwheel full of music and lights...she's in LOVE!!!

My favorite picture of Xmas!  Abigail wearing her new rainboots from Aunt Katie!

We were having A LOT of fun this year....and Abigail found a way to control the noise!

Caitlin enjoying her 1st Xmas.  This was the 1st day we got her reflux under control and she was such a pleasure!!!!!  Merry 1st Christmas, Baby!!!

How cute is this????  The dress Abigail wore for Xmas eve was a gift from her grandpa!  Grandpa found this dress and the matching doll...and had to have it for Abigail.  Pictures of Abigail in this dress will always be so special to me because my dad got it for her!!!!!  And she looked adorable!

Christmas Eve (Preview)

Does this look like a girl who had a great Xmas or what????

*All the Xmas pics will be up...just too late to start tonight!
Just a preview of what's to come!!!!

Abigail's 2nd Birthday, Part 1

Abigail had a great 2nd birthday!  To celebrate the big day, she got to pick out a fish.  She got the cutest little pink Beta fish, who she named Abbi Dabbi (her pronounciation of Abby Caddaby).  She loves Abbi Dabbi and talks to her all day!

We'll have to practice blowing out the candles!

(Sorry for the lack of pictures....I'm still trying to figure out our new computer.)

What's the Hold Up Already???

I know I know...where are the Xmas and birthday pictures??? Soon...very soon! For Xmas, Rob and I decided to buy a new computer as our gift to each other..and the timing couldn't be better.  We've had our Dell since 2003 and it's been a great computer.  I'm actually very attached to it..it sound odd, but it's the computer I made our wedding guest list on, the computer that I used for grad school, and the computer that downloaded all the pictures of our two girls!  But it's also the computer that has no space left and runs so slow it's as annoying as the Chicago Bears this year (and yes, I'm watching the game and some how they let Minnesota tie the game and go to overtime).  So tomorrow I will be picking up our brand new computer...we went with a Toshiba this time, we'll see!  And I can't wait to download the pictures on our brand new computer and do a post!!!!  So tomorrow you can see all the fun that we had at Xmas!!!!
